ABOUT ABOUT

Solace Theatre presents...
SCARLET: THE OUTLAWS OF NOTTINGHAM
Book, Music, & Lyrics by Jeremy & Erin Phillips

Concerning COVID-19 and Scarlet: The Outlaws of Nottingham,

At the discretion of the Solace Theatre board of directors, we have decided with heavy hearts to cancel Scarlet: The Outlaws of Nottingham at the Garner Performing Arts Center on March 26-28, 2020.

At Solace Theatre, we always aim to create a safe environment and we do not want to put our patrons, cast, or crew at risk by hosting a large event.

Even though we still have two weeks until opening, we recorded a full run of the show today with all the costumes, props, and set pieces we had, and it is our hope that you will be able to enjoy Scarlet: The Outlaws of Nottingham virtually on via Facebook and YouTube, free of charge, Lord willing.

Please consider supporting Solace Theatre by donating the amount of your ticket ($10) or by becoming a Monthly Donor! Your financial support during this crisis will make a huge difference to our 2020 season budget, especially if the necessity to avoid events (such as fundraisers) lasts longer than expected.
Aversboro Coffee has generously offered new Monthly Donors a $5 gift card if you sign up in support of Scarlet: https://solacetheatre.org/donate

If you have already purchased a ticket for the production, you will be receiving a prompt refund by the the end of the day.

Please be praying for the health and comfort of not only our cast and crew, but our town, country, and world in the coming weeks, especially as many schools, businesses, theaters, and churches are closing temporarily.

Stay informed by visiting the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html) and Wake County (http://www.wakegov.com/covid19/Pages/default.aspx) websites regarding COVID-19.

If you have any questions, please e-mail us at [email protected].

Even in this, God is good. Even in this, we can rest, we can trust in the God who loves.

Sincerely,
Erin Phillips
CEO of Solace Theatre

"Scarlet: The Outlaws of Nottingham" is a musical comedy that brings the legend of Robin Hood to life. After returning from the crusades, Robin finds the villagers of Nottingham depressed and hopeless, as they are being taxed into oblivion by the oppressive Sheriff of Nottingham. Striving to bring the light and love to the people, Robin and the Merry Men learn about forgiveness and answer the question, “How do you survive in Nottingham?”

Runtime: 2 hours with a 15 min. intermission.
